Boarding is a service provided by the staff members of Ruff N' Tumble exclusively for our daycare clients. While boarding with us, your dog will come to daycare everyday Monday through Friday and go home with us at the end of our shift. They will stay in our homes with our families and pets. We feel that this is a stress free way to leave your dog while you travel. Often times dogs don't handle kenneling well and end up sick or sad and stressed. When they board with us they end up very tired from all the activity and attention they receive. It doesn't require many man hours to kennel a dog since they are in cage or run and for this reason kenneling is a lot less expensive than boarding with us. While your dog stays with us they will be treated just like a member of our family and receive around the clock love and care, because of this we charge $50 a night for this service. We strive to make your dogs stay with us as comfortable and fun as possible. We do have several rules regarding boarding and they are constructed to ensure a fun and safe time for all of us.

 

Please respect the following rules:

1. Call and make a reservation. 770-475-9255

2. Drop your dog off by 10 am.

3. Bring enough food for your dog for the length of their stay. Please put it in a sealable container with their name clearly marked. Please do not bring 40lbs of food for a 3-day stay, etc. as storage can become an issue. We DO NOT like to change a dog's food because it can mess with their tummies, which can ruin our carpets, so please remember to bring their food. Please include a note stating how much they are fed and how often.

4. Please put any medicines in a Ziploc bag with their name clearly marked and with clear instructions.

5. Please include an itinerary and emergency phone numbers.

6. Please have current and valid tags with your phone number on your dogs collar and include their harness. Please feel free to include Ruff N' Tumbles phone number as well.

7. Any toys or extras from home may not come back in the same shape. Please limit the items from home.

8. If your dog wears a coat or sweater, please include it in their bag.

9. Please call us immediately, if you have to change the length of your dog's stay.

 

The staff member that boards your dog will exchange personal phone numbers with you. Please feel free to call and check on your pup while respecting our privacy and home lives. If a medical emergency occurs while your dog is with us they will be taken to Alpharetta Animal Hospital or the nearest Emergency Vet near our homes. You will be notified no matter what time it is.
